Hi, my name is Elise!

I’m a lifelong maker who’s always been curious about how things work—and how they can work better. I earned my Honors BSD in Industrial Design with Honors Research Distinction at The Ohio State University and l'Université de Montréal, where I discovered how to turn my passions of learning and creating into a meaningful career. Taking steps to make this career a reality, I have committed to earn my CAPM (project management) certificate by the end of June 2025!
One of the most inspiring parts of my journey was working as a research apprentice to Dr. Elizabeth Sanders (co-author of The Convivial Design Toolbox), where I discovered the power of involving users in the design process from the very beginning. That experience shaped the way I approach every project: letting real human insights guide thoughtful, purposeful design.
Whether I’m designing a poster, a product, or an entire system, I’m driven by the belief that design can do more than just solve problems—it can spark joy, build connection, and help us live healthier, happier lives.
