Hi, i'm elise!

I’m a lifelong learner and maker who’s always been curious about how things work and how they can work better. Whether I’m designing a poster, a product, or a system, I’m driven by the belief that thoughtful, strategic design can do more than just solve problems—it can spark joy, build connection, and help us live healthier, happier lives.

Highlights

MS, Industrial and Systems Engineering
The Ohio State University

In 2026, I decided to combine my passions for research, design, and project management. I joined Ohio State's own Cognitive Systems Engineering Lab as a master's student, learning about and researching how people, products, and environments interact with each other in complex systems.

BSD, Industrial Design
Design Research distinction
The Ohio State University

I earned my Honors BSD in Industrial Design with Honors Research Distinction at The Ohio State University, turning my passion for learning and creating into a meaningful career. Taking steps to make this career a reality, I have committed to earn my CAPM (project management) certificate in 2025!

Design Research Apprentice
to Dr. Elizabeth Sanders
The Ohio State University

One of the most inspiring parts of my journey was working as a research apprentice, where I discovered the power of involving users in the design process from the very beginning. That experience shaped the way I approach every project: letting real human insights guide thoughtful, purposeful design.

Semester Abroad
Industrial Design
Université de Montréal

Université de Montréal is a francophone university located in Québec, Canada. During this semester I took courses in industrial design and collaborated with peers and faculty to conduct research on UI, UX, and design education methodology.

Let’s collaborate!
